Nice to meet you, my name is Leigh (lee) Andrzejewski (Andrew-jess-key) and I am the newest Content Manager here at Nextfly! It’s been a bit of a crazy voyage to get here, but I have a feeling this is only just beginning.

I am from Syracuse, New York; home of The Syracuse University Orange, The New York State Fair, and snow, lots of snow. Syracuse is in the middle of the state located between Albany and Rochester, and about 5 hours away from New York City. I attended the State University of New York College at Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting and Creative Writing. After graduating, I moved to Indianapolis with my boyfriend, and we lived here for 2 years before we got married on Monument Circle.  Together, we have 2 cats and 1 dog.

After moving to Indianapolis, I worked as a Master Control Operator at a local television station. Master Control Operators watch tv to make sure all the commercials air. Sometimes work would be exciting when running live sports programming or during extreme weather coverage, but most of the time it means watching shows you don’t like, but you can’t change the channel. At the time I was working 8 pm-4 am, and I wasn’t about the nocturnal life.

I wanted to change careers, but I didn’t know where to start. Luckily for me, my sister-in-law opened a bar back in Syracuse, and I asked her how I could help her get started. That turned into me designing the bar’s menu, social media posts, and maintaining the website. This gave me enough experience to leave Master Control and start a new career as a Marketing Manager at a local catering company.  Now I am here at Nextfly and I am excited to expand my expertise in both web development, SEO, and digital marketing.

When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and playing sports. I golf, snowboard, and play hurling on the Indy Gaelic Athletic Association. This year, my husband and I traveled to Seattle, Denver, Las Vegas, New York City, South Carolina, Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai.

I am excited to continue my career journey with Nextfly, and I hope we can create great content for your website and social media pages together.
